Aural Tuning refers to the process of tuning an instrument by ear.

The piano has thousands of moving parts consisting of materials such as wood and felt. Overtime these parts wear and change. The Regulation process will make sure that these parts are working properly. A proper regulation will make the piano much more comfortable for a pianist to play.
